The Book of Bob by Tom Crisp Author info
Vanity dies hard; in some obstinate cases it outlives the man.
about Tom Crisp
Artist and writer Tom Crisp has been art director, editor, business communications consultant and production designer for television and theater.
As the son of Robert E. Lee Crisp and the brother of Rob - with an Uncle Bob and cousin Bobby in close proximity - creating The Book of Bob may have been unavoidable.

A Nebraska native, Tom Crisp has made his home in New York since 1977.

Tom Says Thanks:

To each Robert who kindly responded to questions about his work, his words, and especially his until-now-unpublicized year-of-birth.

To my representative Fredi Friedman for sharing the kind of knowledge for which you typically have to enroll in a seminar.
To editor Christine Schillig for graciously answering five-thousand word emails.
To photographer Ron Cosgrove for flattering the author.

To The New York Public Library and staff for both the world's greatest research rooms and a generous renewal policy.
